BURGER SHOWDOWN #2: PIZZA BURGERS

You may remember, Skinnyboy won our first burger showdown with his peanut butter burger. Now we're back in our second face-off and we're joined by fellow competitive eater and burger lover, Wild Bill.

Below, in no particular order, are all three burgers. Please vote with a comment which burger -- #1 (top), #2 (middle) or #3 (bottom) -- you think looks the best ("best" being a subjective term and meaning whatever you'd like it to). Sorry, no anonymous votes will be counted. Like Wild Bill said on his blog, it's too bad you can't taste these burgers, because I'm sure all three are delicious. Good luck, guys!

I'm not able to click on these photos, I need them bigger to discern whats going on here.

Does that middle one have a roll? Are rolls required?

I'm gonna have to vote for #3. All three look fantastic but #3 conjured up a little more saliva than the other 2!

Sorry steak. Check out the links to Bill and Skinnys blogs. They can be enlarged and then you can cast your vote. (Can you vote on all three blogs?)

It looks as if #2 is on a wrap of sorts. Yeah I'm going with #2.

#1 is too red. (Looks too much like ketchup, which I loathe.) #2 looks like a meat patty topped with mushrooms, with insalata Caprese on the side and something underneath. #3 looks most like pizza.

Hmmmmm. Think I'll go with #2.

#1 by a landslide... I want to eat it NOW!

What's with #2? Burger means between two buns!!

#3, looks burnt!

Are those raw ingredients on #1, like uncooked peperoni and veggies? I don't like that on a pizza burger.

#2 does qualify as a wrap instead of a burger.

#3 reminds me of the muffin pizzas we used to make, with a burger in the middle, bonus. I am going with that one. Yes, #3 is my pick.

Ah, yes. I could not-not take part in this. The combination of two of my favorite food groups: fast food and drunk food.

Let's see here... Number one reminds me of a plastic model they use for photos in advertisements or even those model homes you can visit that have furnishings already. I'd still eat it, but I am a little concerned the plastic may cut my lip..

Number two is my pic. Not because I know it'd give me a number two but because it looks like that is the way it SHOULD be done ala open-faced (perhaps flatbread) style. There are so many ways to eat this thing to achieve different taste combinations it receives my thumbs-up.

Last comes last. How to elaborate. Well, burger appears dry, cheese seems burnt. Is there even sauce on this thing? Visually, it belows but I have to admit, I am a fan of 'burnt' cheese and bread but what throws me is the patty. I'm not sure if ranch could save this... Maybe a little bleu cheese dressing instead.
