THIS IS WHAT FIVE POUNDS OF FRENCH FRIES LOOKS LIKE

Our upcoming Niner Diner challenge includes FIVE POUNDS of french fries. That's the equivalent of 20 medium servings of McDonald's fries (four ounces each). Don't forget to save room for the three-pound burger.

More importantly, how many Wendy's value menu fries is that? Like 40?

Wow, interesting. Wendy's small value menu fries are only 1 gram less than McD's medium. What a rip off.

Yeah, I think I can do five pounds of fries. I also think I can do the burger. But I'm not sure I can do both. I'll do them both at the same time though and see how far I make it.

Well, you have a month. You should have plenty of chances to practice.... (20 medium fries plus a dozen quarter pounders. Yum.)

I got a new Wendys challenge Dave. You could call it the 4-20.
4 Triples with cheese and 20 value meal fries. That should roughly equal what we will be up against. Like the pot reference? You might need to smoke something to eat this much food.

Hmmmm...to a sane human being, that should sound utterly disgusting, but to me that sounds delicious!

I'm going to try four triples and 10 value menu fries this weekend IN ONE HOUR and "assume" that I could do the other 10 value fries in the second hour if I had to.

I am going to just wait and see. I don't want to kill myself or give myself a heart attack before the event.

I'm going with Carey on this one. I've been tryin to "train" for this event, but I'm no where near the 8lbs of food that I'll be trying to eat in this contest.
