REASON #414 WHY JAPAN IS AWESOME

This Japanese game show combines eating and intense running with a side dish of humiliation. It's no wonder no one can run fast enough to reach the last plate. What is that? A peanut? Please. I'd give up too. I like how the guy in the white runs. He never even stood a chance.

After you're done watching this goofy video, go check out Steakbellie's blog to find out what those damn Shea brothers did this time.

you have got to be kidding me. How long did that show stay on the air? That has got to be dangerous.

Looks fun, but being a typical American my first thought was like Carey's. "Someone's going to break their neck!"

But why food? Why not money in increasing increments? Put and $1,000 on that last plate and you're damn right I'll run fast enough to grab it.

OK, road trip planning in progress. Who wants to go to Niagra Falls on the 21st to tackle a challenge?
John Laslo: If you can eat a seventy-ounce steak, a baked potato, the daily vegetable, and a slice of cheesecake in one hour, it's free. If you can't eat it all, it's $49.95.
UEPa meeting time?

correction, I am thinking of the 14th for the storming of Canada. What better day than Bastille day.

I guess if I offer to pay for it, its not an eating challenge.

Sign me up if we can get a group to go. Perfect weekend for some Canadian action, eh?! I'll be first to say I'm not driving but will chip in on gas/ride/hotel.

You need a passport to get into Canada? WTF? I can't go, but I definitely want to hear all about it. Pics and everything.
