THE NEXT UEPa MEETING: RU HUNGRY?

WHERE: RU Hungry, State College, PA

WHEN: July 12 or 13?

MENU: Fat Bitch sandwiches (cheesesteak topped with french fries, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks) and other RU Hungry menu items (the Fat Lion: cheesesteak, hamburger, chicken fingers, bacon, gyro meat, mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers).

According to the article linked above, the UEPa's own Big Brian Subich put down a Fat Lion in 1:48. That might be something to shoot for during our trip...and then keep eating, of course. Let me know if that weekend is good or bad for anyone. Below is a pic of the Bitch. The description sounds better than the sandwich looks, but either way, I'm looking forward to eating a few of these things.

If there's nothing else on the calendar for you that weekend then you're DEFINITELY in, right?

I'm down for that. I love that place and the guys there are really cool. Just a side note, you're not allowed to break apart the sandwich while eating. I might be meeting you in Harrisburg Dave if that's cool with you for this one. Bill has the deal with being on call I believe. Those gosh darn servers don't maintain themselves.

At this moment, there is nothing on my calendar for that weekend. IFOCE has the Lincoln City Ribs contest, I'm not flying to Oregon. Even the on-call schedule is in my favor - unfortunately, I'm on call during the week of July 4th. Good thing I'm not going to make it to the Nathan's final this year (if ever). No servers - mainframe batch cycles.

No prob on the meeting in Harrisburg thing, Philly Guy. If Carey is coming, you might also be able to catch a ride with him.

As much as I hate to admit this but I am struggling with my decision as to go to this next meeting or not. So the plan is to go to RU Hungry, eat a Fat Bitch and go home? Do they have any more challenges? OBNOXIOUS ones? If I am going to drive 4 hours, I need SOME sort of incentive here! That's like me paying $60 to eat a $6.99 sandwich and it doesn't come with a free t-shirt!!! Just sayin. Maybe I can drive to Harris(on)burg and catch a ride....

I hear ya man. I'd like to find a challenge too. We can invent our own (eat XX amount of Fat Bitches), but I'd like to find a place with a giant food item or "eat it and it's free" challenge on the menu.

Any ideas? Niner Diner pancakes? Did anyone do that yet?

No T-shirts for challenges in PA, except Denny's, and the place in Titusville, which is another 149 miles from State College.

Sometimes, the things of yesterday reminding us of scenes last year, while last year, reminding us of scenes yesterday. In severe cases, and actually think tomorrow like yesterday.

The two candle of memory is really too weak, the two words are not like 14 years ago, is so clear. Results, even the words did not say then passing straight disappear in the crowd forever.
