The faux-hawked one, Patrick "I Need a Nickname" Bertoletti, has been chronicled in a recent article in the University of Kansas' student newspaper. Not a bad piece (a lot better than the stuff my alma mater rag passes off as "journalism").

Why is it that so many competitve eaters are skinny and/or ripped? If I ate that much food, it would not be pretty...

I hear ya, Steve. In the last 12 months, since I've started pushing myself with personal eating challenges, I've gained about 20 pounds. Too many Fuddruckers two-pounders and too little exercise!
